Sean Davis, CPA, CFP® has worked in the fields of public accounting and business consulting since 1988. He started Sean Davis, CPA, PA in 2005 in Palm Harbor, FL and in 2020 acquired a new office location in Clearwater, FL.
Sean has a wide range of expertise, including small- to mid-sized business bookkeeping and consulting; business and individual income tax research, preparation, and planning; working with many business owners to sell or acquire their business; and extensively involved with estate and trust, divorce, and retirement planning.
Prior to 2005, Sean was the tax manager with Glass Jacobson, a regional CPA firm in Owings Mills, Maryland. Sean managed the tax department for a staff of 40 professionals and provided assistance on many business valuations. Sean is a member of the American Institute and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is currently licensed as a CPA in both Florida and Maryland.
Sean received his Bachelor of Arts from Towson State University in 1988 and Masters in Taxation from University of Baltimore Law School in 1995. As part of his continuing education, Sean obtained the Certified Financial PlannerTM designation in 2007.
Sean has been married for 29 years to his wife Maureen and they have three children. Sean is a lifetime member of Sons of The American Legion and enjoys many sports activities.
